Tillandsia tectorum

This is a small form, often call Tillandsia tectorum "bush." The inflorescence is insignificant, but the plant has a very thick coating of silver scales on its leaves, giving them a hairy appearance, and forms attractive clumps.

A caulescent form, often sold as "Tillandsia tectorum Stem" Forms long, hanging stems, and flowers for six months.
