Has long been sold in the trade under the name "Tillandsia argentea." There is a species correctly named "Tillandsia argentea", it comes from Cuba, but it ain't this plant! This one is a hardy, popular little plant. It appreciates a bit more shade than other "air" tillandsias.
There are two other forms of T. fuchsii: variety fuchsii and variety stephanii
