General notes

From southern Mexico, Honduras and Costa Rica at 100 to 1,300 meters. Needs more shady and moist conditions than many of the other tillandsias. Recommended as best for a houseplant, or a heated greenhouse where winter temperatures get below 10oC. Flowers in summer and autumn.
