Hardy, likes good light. A widespread, variable species native to Mexico, Central America, the West Indies, Venezuela and Columbia. Yellow tubular flowers. It is found between 50 and 1800m, so we can expect different populations to have quite variable cultivation requirements. The ones in our catalog have been grown from seed, and adapted to our climate.
