A 100 page introduction to caring for and propagating bromeliads, written by local experts in tropical and sub-tropical climates. Whilst the cultivation aspects are specifically focussed on warmer climates, the extensive sections describing species and cultivars, propagation and landscaping have universal application. Similarly, the basics of cultivation are of wider value and even those of us who are not blessed with the attentions of grasshoppers and mosquitos can learn how to deal to scale, aphids, mealy bugs and heavy metals in the section on caring for your plants.
