Cover Landscaping Neoregelia Cultivation
The strengths of this book lie in its focus on the use of bromeliads in landscaping, and their cultivation. As such, its is an excellent introduction and guide for the general gardener. There are chapters on each of the main genera, covering their requirements in cultivation, and illustrating and describing many of the commercially available (in New Zealand) cultivars and species. For the specialist bromeliad grower, the sections on cultivation and identification and control of pests and diseases will be particularly useful.
The book measures 25cm x 21 cm ( 9¾" x 8¼") and has 198 pages. There are 300 color photos, and coverage of over 200 species and cultivars in 28 genera. The author operates a small bromeliad nursery in the north of New Zealand.
