Orders can be sent to us by letter or fax, using an order form you can print from here. Or you can place a secure order online using the "shopping cart" - just press Order now by the items you want. When you have completed your order, go to the shopping cart and check out!

DISCOUNTS: we do not have a wholesale pricelist per se. To paraphrase H. Clark's "Animal Farm," we have one law for all dogs! If your order totals between $250 and $500, we will deduct 15% from your plant cost. Order over $500 and we will deduct 25%, over $1000 we deduct 35%. These discounts apply only to plants and greeting cards. Not to freight, and not to other items we sell such as books because we have a small margin on these items already.

Most items have a reference page attached to them, just click on the coloured item name to see colour photos and a description, then hit the back button to return to this page.

Tillandsias

We have split the tillandsias up into three culture groups, based on varying tolerance to frost and low night temperatures, and a further "Specialist" section for tillandsias that are very small and more usually of interest to hardened collectors.

Group A  will grow outdoors in areas with light frosts provided they have good air circulation to dry them out. Best grown in bright filtered light with some overhead shelter such as trees, or under the eaves of a building.  Also happy under Group B and C conditions.

Group C will be difficult to maintain at temperatures below 5oC, and will grow much better with minimum night temperatures of 10oC. (having said this, there will be enthusiasts who have grown them at lower temperatures - but you need to be an experienced grower to achieve this success)

Portugese Cork Bark

Our imported cork bark is ideal for displaying tillandsias, orchids, and other epiphytes. It is normally sold by the kilogram, but that is a bit hard to visualise if you are not experienced with it. The Portugese cork is typically 2 to 3 cm thick, and we sell three standard sizes:  (prices reduced, March 2005)

We would be happy to quote for any other size, or weight, you want.
